Sweets de Louiza’s is a start-up business which will produce and sell healthy

and deliciously baked pastries such as cakes and cookies. The business will ensure

that the ingredients used in baking are fresh and healthy to ensure the health of the

customers. As we all know, health is wealth that is why the business will produce

healthy fresh products that can satisfy the cravings of the customers guilt-free. The

product is made for everyone, especially the moms who are having a hard time

feeding their child with vegetables, this product is a sweet healthy snack that can

trick your little kid. The product will be made with love and high-quality fresh

ingredients, but rest assured that it is affordable. The business aims to have a name

in the business industry, to fulfill that one of their goals is not just to offer delicious

healthy treats but also to provide a quality customer service. Aside from producing

quality products one way to gain the heart of the customers is through quality

customer service.

The Sweets de Louiza’s is owned and formed by a college graduating student

who aspires to become a successful business owner namely; Ima Trizzia Gimeno.

The business will be in a sole proprietorship type of business. For the business to

properly operate and to ensure that it will be working properly the owner decided to

hire a team that will enable the business to grow and succeed. The members are Ma.

Louella Relatado, Christian Basalan and Jeally Sandoy. The business is under

manufacturing for it converts raw materials into a new fun-filled product that can
satisfy the cravings of the customers. The business started its operation on

November 4, 2021, with different concepts and ideas in collaboration with multiple

trial and errors during the tasting period.

experience?)

Gimeno - Bread and Pastry Production NC II certificate holder (2017)

- Driving NCII certificate holder (2018). An experienced driver.

- Works at her family’s business from elementary until present.

- Good at handling customers

- Owned a business since 2013 – 2017

- Knows how to liquidate and accurately check receipts

- Bakes and sells cakes and cookies in order basis

- Attended a seminar conducted by Go Negosyo Digos City last 2019

Relatado -Have a good eye for fresh and good quality products.

- Good at liquidating and auditing accounts.

D. ADVANTAGE (What is your competitive advantage compared to the other


business?)

Sweets de Louzia provides healthy and delicious cakes and cookies around the

town that is known to produce satisfying treats and quality services for the customers

during the sale and after sale, all for a budget friendly price. We always making sure

that we maintain a profitable business operation, increase the profit margin of the

business, enhance the quality of our products and provide good customer service.

The business promotes affordable cost in order to attain the highest marketplace

perception. This will be achieved by the help of social media advertisement and

through social media feedbacks to catch the public’s attention. The team decided to

focus on catering their customers with great quality of services of course, products

that may ultimately create such satisfaction leading to earning trust and loyalty.

A. PRODUCT/SERVICES (What is the product?)

Sweets de Louiza’s is a start-up business which will produce and sell healthy

and deliciously baked pastries such as cakes and cookies. The business will ensure

that the ingredients used in baking are fresh and healthy to ensure the health of the

customers. The main operation of the business is to create and bake their own Kerrot

Cake (Carrot Cake) and Heal-deli-cookies (Healthy delicious cookies) and sell

thereafter. The two products of the business are mainly made from fresh organic

products such as carrot, dried grape, fresh orange juice, coco sugar, fresh apple,

banana and the oil used in baking is vegetable oil.

B. MARKET

Target Market (Who is your target market? Why?)

In a specific manner, the business target market usually focuses on the parents

with young children and for those who love unique and healthy foods. These

products promote a healthy lifestyle that helps individuals to have their daily dose of

nutrients.

Pricing strategy (What pricing strategy will be used by the business? Explain why?)

To make our product more convenient to people, we will use the cost-based

pricing, which means we will use the price of the ingredients as the basis of our

product. Through this strategy, fairness and profitability can be observed.

Promotional strategy (What promotional strategy will be used to sell the products?)

Providing online advertisement, flyers, and brochures containing all the

information, features, and details about the products of Sweets de Louzia’s is our

primary way of marketing our products. Also posting posters in the designated areas

for posting advertisements in our city will also be part of our plan on how to

advertise our products. Also, we will promote our business to our relatives and

friends and also ask them to promote our products to their friends too. Aside from it,

we will post/ repost our advertisement daily in our business and personal social

media accounts and ask favors from our social media friends to share our post.

C. INDUSTRY

Our business will venture into the food industry in which it will market new

and unique kind of pastry. The owner with the help of her team made sure that the

product produced will be timely and in demand nowadays. Due to strict restrictions

of the Government with regards to the Covid-19 situation, we can’t deny the fact that

people are gaining weight and most of the married or even unmarried couple gave

birth, and as a mom one of their common problems is how to trick their children to

eat vegetables and fruits. Children today are fond of unhealthy foods because it is

delicious as to their taste preference. It makes it more challenging for young mothers

or mothers in general to have their kids eat healthy foods. There are already

established businesses that are also selling pastries; however, they are more focused

on producing delicious and beautiful pastries rather than having it healthy. With this,

the owner came up with the idea to produce healthy pastries made from organic

ingredients.

D. LOCATION (Where will be the business be located?)

The business will be home-based since the business is still in the process of

developing its name in the industry and added the fact that the pandemic is still

present, therefore it will be located at Jacinto Corner Corridor Street, Digos City,

Davao del Sur. However, the product will still be ordered online due to the

pandemic, but our small stall will open up as soon as it is safe for everyone. The

business will produce sweet treats, specifically healthy cakes and cookies; thus, it

needs to attract its target customers, and the choice of location is one of the most

important factors to attain the success of such a business. This is an excellent

location to serve the target market since it is located within the city of Digos. The

business operates along with the other competitors of sweet products and food stalls

in the area in which many people interact (buy and sell) and pass by.
