Business Concept

Ice cream business is a growing industry of dairy product that creates frozen milk
or cream that is sweetened and is eaten for snack and dessert. With great demand of
the public for dairy product supply Ice cream industry are also seen to grow rapidly in
the coming years.

Ice cream is popular among many people especially to young generations for it is
cool, sweet and fancy. During summer people tend to look something cold and fresh.
Ice cream is seen as an indication of summer where weather become hottest in the year
and ice cream are used to clench the heat. Ice cream is a great delight during summer.
Here in the Philippines ice cream are relevant to children’s childhood. In this time of
summer season the team decided to launch an ice cream business in the hope to
provide high quality product and in low price. We believe that ice cream is for everyone.

Through advertising, segmenting the market and focusing to target market we


are then able to narrow down and clearly see our potential customers. We are specially
targeting young generations and early twenties people. Thus we want to target older
generations by providing a healthier flavor and reduce sugar content. If the business
became success, we are also aiming to serve people who are lactose intolerant and
people who does not like milk-based products by offering non-dairy popsicles like fruit
popsicles. In this time of pandemic health became one of the priorities for many people
and so we are aiming to introduce new flavors with health benefits but still offer common
ones. We are specially targeting them and determined to turn them as true customers.
Keeping in mind quality control, dairy processing standard and preferences of the
public, we are positive that this will make a new trend. Therefore, we create a better
choice for our clients who wanted to eat their ice cream in a healthier or new way.

Our operation are mostly order-based, we are only entertaining orders through
social media, message, call or in personal. Therefore, making sure that we only make
product that are ready to be sold and making immediate sale. The exiting part is we also
accept challenges or customized orders where customers choose ingredients and we
will make it for them. Mode of payment are in cash only. We are still in the period of
crisis so we are keeping in mind protocols imposed by the government. Homemade ice
cream in your area or neighborhood would be a great delight during this hot summer
days.

indulgence.

Vision

To sell a good quality ice cream at a fair price to meet the costumers demand
and to be known as the natural ice cream flavor in the Philippines.

Mission

Frosty scoops Mission is to serve our costumer with the finest quality all-natural
ice cream in a wide of variety of innovation flavors.

Proposed Products

At the perfect time of today’s climate, Ice cream is the one that matches of
today’s hotness. A delicacy that helps you cool and give refresh to your body. Frosty
Scoops aims for giving a full service to the customers by serving a unique, delightful
and special flavor of ice cream. A creamy, delicious and rich in milk ice cream that you
will taste in every scoop with an frosty feeling savor and mouth watering that Frosty
Scoops offers. Not just with a single flavor you can taste within but also you can add
more flavor with different toppings on it, you can also decide whether the ice cream you
buy is on a cone or in a cup. The reason why people will buy our products and services
is because the ice cream that we will offer is not just about a plain flavor and a simple
ice cream, but also you can choose a add-ons on it. Eating ice cream will also help each
of every people that will eat, also with the students who want to refresh their minds and
take a break at their school works and which give them a pleasure, comfort and
relaxation from stressful surroundings even just for a bit. We came up an idea of starting
a ice cream business and we also thought that this business is also unique among the
other groups because only ice cream is suitable for this time summer season here in
every places in the Philippines, and it is one of a famous dessert that can help the ease
of hotness of summer and bring a freshness to every people or customers that buy, a
single ice cream that you can partner whatever fruit you like to add and also you can do
different variants of ice cream in a single flavor you would like.

ORGANIZATIONAL CHART

Owner - The person who owns the business. He or She is responsible for the growth,
stability, direction and daily operation of the business.

General Manager - A general manager or GM is someone in charge of managing a


business or a certain area of a company. A GM makes sure that a business works
efficiently and is generating as much profit as possible.

Waiter or waitress - A person whose job is to serve customers at their tables. The
responsibility is to perform a variety of tasks, from preparing the food, stocking supplies,
serving, cleaning tables and counters, resetting tables, greeting customers, and
answering questions.

Cashier - The person handling payments and receipts. The responsibility is providing a
positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service. Registers sales
on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing, and totaling every customers
purchases. Resolves the customer issues, answers the questions, charging people for
their food, handling cash, credit cards, and a cash register.

Security Guard - A person employed to protect a building against intruders or damage.


The responsibility of the security guard is protecting company's property and staff by
maintaining a safe and secure environment. Observing for signs of crime or disorder
and investigate disturbances. Acting lawfully in direct defense of life or property.

Master Chef - A person whose job is to cook in a restaurant or hotel. The


responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality
dishes. Delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner.

Assistant Cook - A person assigned to provide support to chefs. With duties such as
maintaining supplies, handling leftovers, preparing food, testing new recipes, cleaning
the kitchen, keeping cooking utensils organized, and plating dishes.

Brief about Marketing Strategy

During this time of the pandemic, many restaurants and other businesses
received a great loss due to the implementation of the governments’ community
quarantine where people stayed at home to avoid getting caught up and spreading the
COVID- 19 virus.  To promote our ice cream shop and to keep it functioning, an online
marketing strategy is the best solution to reach out customers. This is because most
people use many different social media, considering that there are over Four point two
billion people who are online on the internet every day. The benefit of promoting an
online business or in social media is that the people use the internet to find all types of
information like searching products and services which can reach the ideal type of
customers that are interested in our business products. With this, we can easily identify
who our target customer is. Another way to strategize our market strategy is to advertise
with the traditional way using promotional video, or a print ad in a newspaper, making
an online business selling group on Social Media platforms and creating a web page or
site that has our business information which includes the location of our ice cream shop,
contact number, services and offers, and the menu. They can also talk to us about what
they want, their concerns, and suggestions thru text, calls, email, and chat, which can
help us to greatly improve our business so that it can meet the customers’ expectations.
This strategy can make our customers feel welcomed and builds a relationship with
them.

            Aside from marketing our business online, putting up a sign can also be a great
factor to attract customers such as putting up a flyer and a tarpaulin on the streets
where people walk by, because “a business without a sign is a sign of no business” as
they say. We shall offer customers who visit our shop with a free taste or the taste
sample of our ice cream and also offer them discounts.
