TOPIC 1: CORE VALUES AT THE HEART OF THE 21ST CENTURY
CURRICULUM

Core Values at the Heart of the 21 st Century Curriculum, this concept relates towards
the relevance of addressing not just the intellectual abilities of an individual but also for the
interpersonal or emotional traits which probably give our life value for us to live properly in the
society where people tends to be hard on one’s life.

This topic has the importance that we people should/must know very well because
education in values helps people to understand existence as well as the impacts of our behavior
in the society we have. For me, through creating a positive learning environment and pursuing
education programs from such an interactive, individual, and different cultural group, we could
perhaps improve outcomes for ourselves specially for the youth of our generation. Furthermore,
character education helps throughout student's ongoing growth of responsibility as well as good
sense. They have a greater understanding of humankind's perspectives as little more than an
outcome, that also supports them in major fulfilling lives becoming good citizen. This
somehow assist students in strengthening strong bonds with their friends or relatives, as much
as to other people surrounds them. Values are crucial for the growth of one's actual personality
and attitude. Strengthening one's mind and emotions is a significant advantage of values
education. It also enables you to become knowledgeable of something and deal with your
emotional needs as well as cognitive processes in such a better and healthier manner.

I conclude that this topic will help me become a great educator in the future, from this
I’ve known that values education focuses primarily upon people's personal growth in order to
control their path and successfully navigate challenging circumstances. Education shapes
youngsters to successfully carry out their cultural, spiritual, and progressive responsibilities by
becoming sensitive towards dynamic environment. It’ll give me the key how to interact with
my students in the future as well as how to make everything possible for me to understand them
and their issues in life.

TOPIC 2: Multicultural Education

 A lot to learn from this topic and I wanted to share the fact that children who are
raised and educated in a diverse setting have a stronger insight of something like the
perceptions, behaviors, as well as experiences from others. Child's social and emotional
abilities would be at a high standard with all of this understanding of everyone else. That may
also lead to know how to respect and be responsible on how you will react from the issues of
other people in your society.

Multicultural education discusses the ways of how it motivates the merging of

cultural diversity and also the sending and receiving points of views. Where concepts can
always be shared to develop new breakthroughs for enterprises and much more gainful
collaboration with others. I find it very crucial that people should be aware of how this content
is important for us to learn. It enables us to know how to have a proper way of thinking about
the diversity of each and one of us in the society we are in.
TOPIC 1: TEACHING NEW LITERACY IN A DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT

For instance, by starting from scratch, students can develop their own own websites or blogs, giving
them the freedom to be imaginative throughout the entire process. Truly that ICT brought so much
change that it changed the role of learners and teachers in school. Before, teachers are knowledge
transmitter, primary source of informatio,control and management of learning, while learners are;
passive recipient of knowledge, recall of knowledge and individual learning but now ICT make it
easier for both teachers and learners because teachers today are the facilitator, collaborator, coach,
and navigator of knowledge while learners today are active participant iin learning, producing
knowledge and collaborative learners. I learned that knowing digital literacies really has a huge
impact on this generation, especially to the students. And knowing digital literacies, especially
having skills in using digital tools, helps me to learn easily, freely explore new things, and connect
with other people who help me gain knowledge about certain things. We can never hide the fact
that, through using digital literacies in learning we can discover talents and skills that we never
thought existed. ICT tools help me in many ways and bring out a better version of me as a student; I
can improve my communication skills, my collaboration skills, my critical thinking skills, and of
course my creativity. Additionally, these technological tools give me the opportunity to enhance
learning as a future educator. I got the chance to expand my expertise in creating my own engaging
activities for my classes that combine educational content with fun, in addition to effectively
presenting information using technology in the classroom. I can be more imaginative when
providing my students with activities and information. The use of technology in the classroom has
advanced far beyond simple word processing and simple presentations with images, and it is now a
key tool for motivating students. I know that these ICT tools will be a great asset in my classroom
as a motivational aid and a teaching tool to help students succeed
Modern society is undergoing enormous transformation. Many tools are developed to improve
the efficiency and ease of our daily life. Technology was created since it is the 21st century, and
its abrupt appearance is having an impact on many things. Technology has a big impact on us
nowadays, especially in terms of education. The use of technology in teaching and learning has
been reported by students to be more engaging than conventional methods of instruction. because
technical tools have a lot to offer in terms of capabilities.
The 21st century is becoming increasingly digital, and teachers must recognize this and impart
digital literacy to the next generation because it is more convenient to use. Technology is
increasingly being used in education, specially that we live in a digital world, when information
is easily accessible. With the help of technology, students can now easily access information
online that previously required trips to the library. Students can get information for free by using
resources like Wikipedia properly. Technology may also allow students like me access to
opportunities we never would have thought possible, as well as a world of boundless creativity.
