District Supervisors Public and Private Elementary and Secondary School Heads Unit Heads ‘Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel All Others Concerned Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No, 2399 dated February 25, 1985 “Designating the Second Week of December of Every Year as Education Week, the Department of Education (DepED) ~ Schools Division of Tarlac Province shall celebrate the 2016 Education Week on December 5-9, 2016. The venue for this year’s celebrations will be at Moncada Public Auditorium, Moncada, Tarlac with the theme ~ “#GoGLOBAL - Empowering Educators for World Class Education”. This celebrations aim to, 2.1 provide awareness among stakeholders on the role of education as a stimulus towards national development; 2.2 reaffirm and emphasize the role of education in empowering and developing the young to be productive citizens of the country and responsive to the needs of the times; 2.3 drum up support and cooperation among stakeholders for the implementation of the Enhanced Basic Education Program (K to 12); 2.4 strengthen cooperation among stakeholders in education to support the necessary and significant changes to achieve quality and relevant education; and 2.5 inspire every educator to do more for the learners to ensure their future. All school officials are encouraged to conduct simple programs and activities during the week consistent with the theme which will be provided later.
