UNIT 17: AFRAID

I’m afraid of snake, the dark and public speaking.

+ I’m afraid of snakes. They make me nervous when they get close to me. Their
skin is terrifying.
+ My second fear is the dark. In the dark, I feel lonely, lost, and disoriented.
What’s your greatest fear?
+ I’m terrified of public speaking. I’m nervous, cool, and uncomfortable in front of
a crowd. I’ve heard that it’s one of the most common fears.
How do you overcome your fear of public speaking?
I overcame my fear of public speaking by practicing speaking in front of a mirror
or a pet, then a friend, and finally a few friends.
UNIT 20: REGRETS
I’m regret abt get involved in activities, not making a right decision and hurt
someone’s feelings
+ I regret not getting involved in more activities at school. If only I had
participated in many activities, I would have had more friends. In addition, I have
also become a friendlier person.
+ My second regret is hurting my best friend. My friend and I had a significant
disagreement. I was upset with her and refused to listen to her opinions. I wish I
had paid more attention to her opinions.
What did you regret the most?
My greatest regret was not submitting my school report. If I submitted my school
report early, I would get into my favorite university. I wish I had made a better
decision.
Well, we all learn from our mistakes.
