5069-OW16 Blinking Red Channel Lights

Problem
The channel fault lights on a 5069-OW16 blink red.
Channel LEDs on the 5069-OW16 flash red.
Why are the 5069-OW16 Channel Status LEDs are flashing red after applying 120 VAC
SA Power? Under Diagnostics for the module it says Field Power is OK.

Solution
You may apply SA (field power) to the 5069-OW16 via the controller or via a 5069-FPD. If applying voltage to the
5069-OW16, it must be 24VDC.

If 24VDC is applied to the SA of the processor/FPD module, ensure the cards are seated properly (do this with the
chassis powered down).

If 120VAC is applied, anomalous behavior (such as blinking red channel lights), or catastrophic module failure will
likely result. In that case, the module will need to be repaired or replaced.
