There exists a certain group of curves called Conic Sections that are

kin in several astonishing ways. Each member of this group has a

certain shape, and can be classified appropriately: as either circle,
parabola, hyperbola, or ellipse.
In this lesson I have learned that the study of conic sections is
important not only for mathematics, physics, and astronomy, but
also for a variety of engineering applications. The smoothness of
conic sections is an important property for applications such as
aerodynamics, where a smooth surface is needed to ensure laminar
flow and prevent turbulence.
We use conic sections in our everyday life but we just don’t know it.
Like if a ball is thrown high, it follows a parabolic path. If A roller
coaster takes the path of rise and fall of a parabolic track of the sea.
If an architectural structure built and named The Parabola in
London in 1962 has a copper roof with parabolic and hyperbolic
linings. These are just few examples of the conic sections in our
everyday lives that we don’t even notice.

Furthermore in every step we take or every move you make there

will be always a sequence or a pattern that we follow in our lives,
without it we cannot know the value of the simple things that we do
everyday that is related to conic sections.
