Electrical workshop 2
Assignment 2

Based on the introduction to “Altium designer software” draw the schematic circuit of workshop
practice 1 & 2 on contactor switch circuits.

Details for each circuit:

 Create a PCB project file

 Include schematic sheet file and schematic library file
 Make the schematic symbols of the circuit components (contactors, overload relays,
motor, and push button) in the schematic library you have created. When drawing the
circuit components identify each pins as per the notation we have discussed up until now.
 Draw the schematic of the circuitry using the components you have built in the schematic
library. Make sure to use “NetLabel”s to minimize the amount of cross over wiring.
 On the title block of the schematic sheet insert the workshop practice title. And on the
drawn by block insert your name and ID number.

Submit the paper print of your schematic (a total of two pages of schematic sheet, one for
each workshop practice) as per the deadline shown below. Late submissions are not allowed.
