WHAT IS SUSTAINABILTY PLAN / DESIGN ?

Sustainable design seeks to reduce negative impacts on the environment, and the

health and comfort of building occupants, thereby improving building
performance. The basic objectives of sustainability are to reduce consumption of
non-renewable resources, minimize waste, and create healthy, productive
environments.

WHAT IS HE IMPORTANCE OF SUSTAINABILITY PLAN ?

Here are many benefits to sustainability, both short-term and long-term. We cannot
maintain our Earth’s ecosystems or continue to function as we do if more sustainable
choices are not made. If harmful processes are maintained with no change, it is likely
that we will run out of fossil fuels, huge numbers of animal species will become
extinct, and the atmosphere will be irreparably damaged. .

THE THREE PILLARS OF SUSTAINABLY

People: the social pillar

The social pillar focuses on balancing the needs of an individual with the needs of the
group.

Planet: the environmental pillar

The final pillar focuses on environmental sustainability. It encourages activities,

processes and systems that help reduce the carbon footprint and environmental
damage done by an organization.

Profit: the economic pillar

The economic pillar refers to using a set of resources in a profitable way that will
allow them to be used long-term.
