 HISTORY
The "Brigada de Voluntarios Bolivarianos del Perú"

(BVBP) is a Peruvian youth NGO active at South

America, founded on November 23, 1982.

BVBP, is a organization which creates

opportunities for young people who would like to

be an active leader, try and learn something new

for personal and professional development who can

be a leader in their communities mainly young

people with fewer opportunities.

Our national office is in Lima, and we have 16

groups in different cities in Peru, whose mission

is to empower young people to be a leader and

change their community.

Beginner sign language workshop By a strategic ally

Angie was secretary of education for the federation

of the deaf from the La Libertad region. Her main
responsibility is inclusive education.
She provided services to the health sector teaching
doctors at the Belén hospital.
A year ago she began a search for hearing-impaired
children to advise parents in different schools.
Now she has a business: SEÑAS PERÚ where she
teaches children with this disability.
Angie's goal is to continue fighting for the rights of
the hearing impaired community in Trujillo so that
we get a proper education.

defined to be taken by the Tacna subsidiary BVBP

in order to strengthen the Deaf Association of our

community based on the reality that it presents.

 Through coordination, the psychologist Cristina

BVBP, as facilitators ... Flores was introduced to the DAT to work on a

project with the students of her Educational

Psychology course in benefit of the Deaf Association

Wednesday With this we intend to make the Deaf Association visible and gradually

work aimed to them

representatives of the Deaf

and used in the meetings that the

representatives hold within their

The DisAbility project gave us the tools to

address the issue of disability in our

communities, where through talks, workshops

and activities we were able to have a better

understanding of the problems that surround it,

as well as their feelings and projection based

on their needs.
