On our duty my experience in Tagum Doctors Hospital is I felt privileged because it is my dream to

encounter and to learn more about in our exposure. As we assign in the DR in January 19, 2023 to
January 20,2023 on our first day of duty we observe a cesarean section and it truly amazed me how the
operation works, after that we observe how to take the anthropometric measurements in the newborn
and then we observe how to inject vitamin K, Hepa B and BCG in the newborn baby. Also we observe an
MRM surgery it means modified radical mastectomy it is a surgery to remove the whole breast, which
may include the nipple, areola (the dark-colored skin around the nipple), and skin over the breast most
of the lymph nodes under the arm are also removed. As I observed I see how the surgeon did their best
in order to save a life of a patient. On the second day of our duty we learned how to fold a gauze pad
and form in into cherry balls, it is use to cover acute surgical wounds.

As I reflect on my experience it has a lot of impact on my whole being as a student nurse for me I will
strive hard and conquer my fears to fulfill my dreams and to become a registered nurse someday.
