In many countries, people are moving away from rural areas and towards urban

areas. Why do you think that is? What problems can this cause?

It is obvious that in many nations, people are migrating from the countryside to the
cities. From my perspective, this inclination results from the desire for a better living
standard and lead to so many issues.
To begin with, I firmly believe that the most popular reason why moving to the urban
areas becomes a trend is about convenience. There are several shops, hospitals,
schools and many others facilities that is widely believed to have better qualities than
those in the rural areas. Therefore, many people want to live in cities in order to
receive a more convenient and higher living conditions. On the other hand, living in
the big cities give people more employment opportunities than living in rural areas. In
countryside, man power is being replaced considerably by engines, which cause a
huge cut down of workers and farmers. The unemployed then move to the urban
areas with a believe to have more chances to get a job and earn a living.

Even though living in urban areas might bring back many advantages, it can still lead to
many problems. The insfrastructure can’t be upgraded immiediately to satisfy the
demand while the number of people leaving the old lifestyles behind is rising gradually.
Therefore, this phenonmenon lead to the overpopulation, which cause so many other
problems. First, the overcrowded endangers and contaminate the enviroment because
of the rise in domestic waste from the residents. Second, a high rise in population can
lead to the lack of accommodation, food and other vital demands for the inhabitants
who can not afford the high living standard.
To conclude, I think agree that moving to big cities may bring people countless benefits,
but it also can cause numerous disadvantages.
