As cosmetic surgery has become more popular, this essay will

briefly outline the arguments for or against its ban.
Cosmetic surgery is a serious intervention used to change the
physical appearance of people. As I see it now, I do not think that I
would live with this opportunity (procedure), but there are other
people who have major reasons why they want to come through
these operations. In my opinion cosmetic surgery should not be
banned.
There are people who suffered serious accidents, which caused them
to have permanent burns and scars on their body. Cosmetic surgery
is an option for them to get these aesthetic “problems” fixed. There
are cases where people with deformities seek cosmetic surgery just
to regain normality.
Not only that, but there are people who had to get through some
surgeries, and as a consequence their body changed permanently. In
my view cosmetic surgery is an opportunity for them to get back their
old looks and live a happy and cosy life.
On the other hand, there are people who undergo cosmetic surgery
are motivated by vanity, they have unrealistic ideas of beauty. Of
course, there are people who want to get these interventions
because they are not happy with the way how they look, and I think
that they should be included they pursuit an ideal body image. I
strongly believe that if we banned cosmetic surgeries, then only the
safe ways would be taken away.
That’s why I believe the arguments against banning cosmetic
surgery are stronger than those for.
