How to reset your VPN password to connect to the TechLab cloud

• First – Find out your Ensign College userid and Email address

The TechLab VPN uses your Ensign College UserID. It can be confusing with so many different login
credentials. You have your BYUPW credentials, your ChurchOfJesusChrist.org credentials, and now you
have your Ensign College credentials.

You can find your Ensign College UserID by going into Canvas and selecting one of your current courses.
On the left side of the screen you will see the People tab. If you go into the People tab, you can find your
own account and you should see your own Ensign College email account.

Your Ensign college UserID is the first half of your Ensign college email address (what is before the
@ensign.edu.

• Second – Reach out to the Ensign College Helpdesk to reset your Ensign College
password

Now that you know your Ensign College email account, you will want to send an email from this new
account to the Ensign College Helpdesk. (If you don’t use the Ensign Email account, it will delay getting
your password reset because the Helpdesk will have to validate that you are who you claim to be.) So,
please use the Ensign College email system to make any requests to the Ensign Helpdesk.
