COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course is designed to make students understand and appreciate importance of Co-operative
in the economy and the approach of managing Co-operative organizations
Learning Outcomes:
 Explain the meaning of the concept of Co-operative management
 Analyze the nature of co-operative in Kenya
 Differentiate co-operative form of business with other form of business
 Demonstrate the importance of co-operative principles in the management of societies
 Discuss the structure of co-operatives in Kenya
 Describe the procedures of formation of co-operative in Kenya
