How many times did I go to the gym How healthy did I eat
Stress Level

Post Project Analysis

I went to the gym a total of 29 times. In the beginning it took some time to adjust to the
schedule that I had made and making the time to go. But as I forced myself to follow the
schedule, I was able to go more consistently per week.

Tuesday Thursday Friday

1-2/3 PM 1-2/3 PM 11-12AM depending on my
work schedule.
It surprised me how much easier it was to eat healthy. In the beginning I thought that
would be one of harder parts because I would have to cook my own food more often. But once I
started going grocery shopping and picking out what I wanted to eat it was a lot easier to make
sure that I was eating balanced meals every day.

 Decrease added sugar intake

o Eat less candy!
 Increase protein intake
o Protein bars and smoothies

Stressors that I noticed:

 Finding a co-op and going through the interview process
 Major projects and presentations in my classes
 Going out with friends and getting things done
o my friends from high school are back. To make sure that I got all my schoolwork
done I made sure that I would only go out with then once all my assignments are
complete. This helped me with my schoolwork but not with my sleep because I
would end up going out at night with them instead of going to bed.

Did I feel more relaxed?

Overall, yes. I learned that feeling relaxed mainly came from your mind. Before I would
watch tv and relax but I was always thinking about what I had to do later so I never really felt
relaxed. Especially toward the end of the semester I focused on clearing my mind and tried not to
overthink and worry about the future and just focus on being relaxed in the moment.

Did my amount of sleep change?

Unfortunately, I don’t think that there as a big increase in the amount of sleep that I got
each week. I think this was because I would go out with my friends at night and then go to bed
late. I also sometimes struggle to fall asleep when I feel stressed.

Was I able to lower my screen time?

I tried to lower my average screen time. I think that overall, toward the end of the
semester compared to the beginning there was a slight decrease in how much time I spent on my
electronics.
Summary
I think that going into this project I expected to see more of a dramatic change in myself
than what happened. Though it was more of a small change I believe that during the duration of
the project I was overall more motivated and better about myself. It was hard to measure my
progress, so I had to measure it based off how I felt that week. During the duration of this
project, I believe that I had more productivity done as the weeks progressed which is why I
would say that this was an overall successful project. I hope to continue this routine that I have
created for myself through the rest of the summer.
