With due respect I undersigned Manikandan M submitting the application for
intimation of Factories categorization for Solar Plant M/s LS Mills Ltd at Noothulapuram
Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District, Tamilnadu
As adherence to categorization of Industries by TNPCB (Source: B.P. Ms. No.6
dated 2.8.2016, Proc. No. TNPCB/P&D/Revised Categorization/2016 Dt. 26.10.2016 and
B.P. No.66 Dt. 30.11.2017, B.P. No. 26, Dt. 30.07.2018)

As per above categorization our plant comes under White category. Central Pollution
Control Board states that there shall be no necessity of obtaining the “Consent to
Operate” for white category of industries and an intimation to concerned SPCB shall
suffice. So kindly consider this letter as an intimation and hereby I informed you that we
are not going to utilize water from various source for module cleaning, In case of
occasional requirement we may use water for cleaning not exceeding 6000 liters per
day. You are requested to consider our Solar Plant in White Category and accept the
applicable exemptions.
