The main responsibility of a teacher is to prepare lesson plans and educate
students. Major duties will range from the preparation of course work, planning of classes and the marking of work handed in. Implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Creates and delivers engaging lessons to diverse group of students at all levels. Collects and reports on correct and detailed records of student performance. Maintain classroom decorum. Teach and educate students according to educational needs, abilities and attainment as per the guidelines provided by the DQCA Team. Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to all students in the class. Review and evaluate one’s own teaching and learning strategies, methodologies and Programme/s in line with the DQCA framework guidelines. Encourage parents/students to use Learning Management System Matrix by putting Learning materials on LMS. On LMS teachers and campus heads upload assessments, provide feedback and encourage effective discussions with students. Teach according to the educational needs, abilities and achievement of the individual students and groups of students. Adopt and work towards the implementation of the school development plan of the particular campus Adapt and reassess lesson plans to meet specific student needs, comply with DQCA implemented guidelines, and to update relevant information on LMS. Manages the diverse ability level of students and maintain order and discipline among students while promoting safety and compliance with school rules and guidelines and provide positive learning environment. Adapt curriculum to fit student needs while maintaining overall class progress. Assess and record student development, while identifying problem areas and areas which need attention and improvement and discuss with the Campus Head. Participate in professional education and MIPD training courses as well as in continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities. Attend and take part in school Parents Teacher Meetings to interact with the parental community and educate parents on the progress their children, effectiveness of our teaching and learning methodologies, curriculum and activities.
