A NARRATIVE REPORT ON SCHOOL PARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATION ELECTION

In line with DepEd Order no. 13 S. 2022

known as the Omnibus Parent-Teacher Associations
( PTA ) Guidelines of 2022, East Bagong Barrio
Elementary School held its first face-to-face SPTA
election since the pandemic started. The meeting
was held at the School’s Social Hall on September 9,
2022, at 10:00 a.m, and it was facilitated by the
Faculty Club Officers.

A week before the SPTA election, advisers

from Kinder to Grades 1-6, elected their
Homeroom PTA officers as well as the Grade
level PTA representative. Invitations were sent
thru messenger and text- messages to all the
Homeroom officers a day before the said
meeting.

The election formally started with a prayer led

by Mrs. Eva F. Falcutila at exactly 10:10 a.m. A proper
quorum was reached wherein there were 78
attendees. Ma’am Angelene M. Villacampa – the
faculty club President, presided over the meeting.
She started it by explaining the manner of voting and
also, presented the representatives of each grade
level to the body.

After a 30-minute voting process, the body was able to select its new set of
officers. Here is the result:

Following the new guidelines for electing

SPTA officers that the Secretary and one B.O.D
should be from the advisers. Consequently, an hour
before the SPTA election the advisers from Kinder
to Grade 6 elected the secretary and one B.O.D
which were Ms. Minverose R. Muhi and Mr. Warren
F. Formilos.

Everyone exercised their right to vote and was satisfied with the result. The
election was adjourned at 11:00 a.m and a message from Ma’am Luisa B. Cruz was
delivered to formally end the meeting.
