Three types of scaffold Standards


BS EN 12811 2003 –Tubes & Fittings - Managed by TG20
BS EN 12810 2003 – Facade scaffolds made of prefabricated components (System
Scaffold) Managed by Manufactural Instruction (MI)
BS EN 1004 –Specification for prefabricated Aluminum tower scaffolds.

Aluminum Scaffolds are for light duties.


System scaffolds follows only the manufacturers instruction.
About 90% of the companies in the world follows the BSEN Standards.
