ROOFING

All the roofs shall be provided with long span roofing, the brand should be defined by the
owner. The fixing system should match the roofing profile in terms of performance and
durability. Thickness and the required width and length shall be defined by the owner.
Trusses, rafters and roofing members shall be of locally produced red-hot rolled structural steel
angle with the minimum quality. All structural steel elements shall be with corrosion protection
preferably a galva-coat (Epoxy primer) paint or equivalent to be executed in good quality
including the welding joint connections. All metal will be prepped for painting with all foreign
material, rust, weld slag, grease dirt removed.
FINISHING
All girts plates and rafters/trusses connection shall be set securely in lace with a specified bolts
and/or by welding
D. DOORS AND WINDOWS
1. Scope
This section covers the supply and installation of the door, windows and glass complete
with frames and accessories.
2. Aluminum Doors
This item shall consist of all fabricated aluminum doors complete with the hardware necessary
for the proper functioning thereafter as called for this specifications unless in the drawings.
2a. Material
All lumber for doorjambs, door bars shall be kilns dried with not more than 14% moisture
content. Door types (as applicable): Panel door shall be done in accordance with details as shown
on plans and shall be made of “narra”. Hollow core doors (flush door) shall be done in
accordance with the details as shown in the plans. The plywood edge protection shall be around
and into the outside frame of the door in order to edges.
2c. Adhesive and Bonds
Adhesive and bonds for door with natural finish shall be non-staining.
2d Installations.
Doors shall be installed only after completion of the work, which may affect the moisture
content of the door. Doors shall be fitted and trimmed as required by the opening they will cover.
Door shall have clearance of 3 cm at the side and top, and have a bottom clearance of 6mm over
the holds as shown on details.
3. Glass windows
3a. Scope
This section covers furnishing of all glass window type materials and fixing accessories
necessary for the proper functioning thereafter as shown on plans and has herein specified.
3b. Materials Sliding window, fixed and awning.
This type of window shall be comparable of looking the unit in any position and can not be
opened inside. It consists of thick smoked glass joined by steel casement. Window frame.
Opening frames for steel case window shall be made of steel.
