ARTICLE 7 - GYPSUM BOARD WORK

1.0. GENERAL

1.1. General Provisions

 a new job can be done after completion of all installation work to be installed above the ceiling has

1.2. scope of Work

a. This section covers the terms / conditions (payment, delivery, storage, installation) for labor,
materials, and equipment.

b. Include the provision of ceiling and partition material: compound, tape, ceiling hanger frame,
mounting frame hanging and ceiling materials in places according to the plan drawings, and material

1.3. References

a. All work must refer to standards: E1477 and E 1264 Hymidity - plus Humiguard resistant.

b. Quality Assurance:

Qualifications manufacturing: product used here should be produced by companies that are well known
and have experience of successful and accepted by the Consultant Construction Management (CM) and
the client.

c. Worker Qualifications:

 At least there should be one person who fully understood against this section during the
implementation, understanding of the needs required, materials, and methods needed for
implementation.

1.4. Delivery (submittals)

The contractor shall send to the client, MK, and Planner to the following for review prior to start of
work:

1.5. Storage and Care Products


a. Materials should be sent in sealed protective containers from the factory or the manufacturer's name,
color, size and type.

b. Materials must be held / maintained with care to avoid damage in accordance with manufacturer's
instructions.

c. Material should be stored in a room, closed, stacked flat, up off the floor and protected from water,
all of which fit the manufacturer's instructions.

2.0. MATERIALS

2.1. Materials and Components

a. Materials used in this section shall be consistent with the rules and standards referred to herein, and /
or equivalent regulations and international standards, were approved by the client, MK, and Planner.

b. Gypsum panels to the ceiling should have a thickness of 12 mm plasterboard with recessed sides, in
accordance with the approval of the Court, the client, and Planner.

c. Screw fastening gypsum plasterboard ceiling system in the form of average relationship (flush) to
produce a smooth continuous surface that is ideal for all forms of decoration.

d. Aluminum frame must consist of a top cross rails, furring channels, and locking clip, in accordance
with the recommendations of the manufacturer.

e. Screws for fixing plasterboard to be anti-rust.


f. Ceiling types and patterns shall be in accordance with the approval of the Court, the client, and
Planner.

2.2. Gypsum Board Panel

Gypsum Ceiling Board for:

a. Finish: spray paint

b. Size: as picture plan

c. Thickness: 12 mm

d. Production: Jaya Board - Product: Boral or equivalent

e. Fire Rating: 60 minutes

f. Frame: Metal Furing to factory defaults

g. Extra Stock: 5%

h. System installation: Semi concealed grid

3.0. INSTALLATION

3.1. examination

a. Check areas scheduled to be installed this unit ceiling hanger to determine unevenness, inequality and

3.2. Installation of steel framing for suspended and furred ceiling

a. Buffer ceiling must be placed in accordance with reflected ceiling plans and details or in accordance
with the approved shop drawings, and will be on the line and level with other instruments or other
equipment that has been approved. Use the "turnbuckles" for leveling.

b. Hang the hanger from the structural ceiling of the building and do the following:

1 Install the hanger with the flat and free from contact with insulation or other objects within ceiling

3.3. The application and finishing gypsum board

General

a. Put a blanket of sound attenuator which was shown before the installation of acoustic ceiling panels
unless blankets are ready to be installed after the acoustic panels have been installed on one side.

b. Install ceiling panels, gypsum board with a transverse order to minimize the number of connections in

c. Install gypsum board panels with face side out. Do not install panels that are not perfect, damaged, or
