    AnyTone radios now have a GPS Roaming feature which allows users to set GPS locations and radii that will automatically switch the radio between zones as the user travels within or outside the set radii. The radio will remain in the currently selected zone until entering a GPS Roaming zone, at which point it will switch to that zone, and revert back when leaving the roaming zone. Multiple roaming zones can be set up to switch between as a user moves between the areas.

    AnyTone GPS Roaming

    Duane Reese N6DMR

    Anytone has added a new feature called GPS Roaming. It allows you to set GPS locations
    and a radius that will auto switch into and out of the added GPS Roaming Zone as you
    travel.

    As you travel you remain in the currently set Zone until you reach the GPS Roaming Zone
    set radius, where the radio will switch to the selected Zone. You can continue and after you
    travel out of the set GPS Roam Zone you will revert back to the currently set Zone. If you
    set two GPS Roaming Zones close enough, you will change between GPS Roaming Zones as
    shown below:

    Setup:

    Set one or multiple GPS Roaming Zone in the GPS Roaming menu:

    Turn On GPS and GPS Roaming in the Optional Setting -> GPS/Ranging Menu and wait for a
    GPS Lock:
