MIDTERM A.Y 2021-2022

THE METAMORPHOSIS
: Tour of Asian Nation (Grade 12)
: Best Philippine tours and trips 2021-2022 (Grade 11)
A VIRTUAL FIELD TRIP

In this Virtual fieldtrip, Franciscan learners will experience how to be a Tour guide, they will bring us to the
different places that We can’t visit because of the pandemic. The main purpose of this project is to unify and
make the bond of the students stronger despite of their differences and uniqueness, also for them to showcase
their skills and talent by creating a Legacy in SFAC through public speaking and doing presentations.

I. MECHANICS AND RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. PARTICIPANTS

1.A The Virtual field trip is open to all the sections of Senior High School Department at Saint Francis
of Assisi College- Taguig Campus, A.Y 2021-2022
2.A Every strand MUST submit one (1) entry only
- Video Presentation, Recorded (30 minutes max)
3.A The conceptualization, meetings and other form of strategic planning must be done virtually.

2.A.B DELIVERABLES: Video Presentation

- The Presentation must be 25 minutes minimum and 30 minutes maximum length of video.
- The Presentation should follow the given phases and the program for guiding
- The content of the presentation depends on the strategy of the students
- The entry should be in digitized format
-The entry must be in full colored format

2.A.B.C DELIVERABLES: Dance Performance

-The performance must be minimum by 2 minutes, maximum by 3 minutes.


- The performance must be a traditional or a- well known dance of the given place/ country.
- the students should perform wearing the respective costume of their chosen place/ country.

2.A PHASE I: Bus Guide:


-They are the one who is responsible in giving information inside the bus, also they are the person
who is in-charge of giving initial instructions, rules and regulation, and orienting the different part of
the bus.
2.B PHASE II: In- House Guides:
- also known as curator, one in charge of the museum, zoo, or other place or exhibit.
Curatorial Duties includes acquiring new networks, caring for and repairing objects already owned,
discovering frauds and counterfeits, lending artworks to other museum and leading visitors to the
exhibit.

3. CHARACTERIZATION
3.A (1) Bus Guide, (6) In-House Guide and (1) Coach Captain (Driver)

4. IN- HOUSE GUIDE (STATIONS)

STATION 1: includes the rules and regulation of the museum.


-short history of the given place/ countries.
STATION 2: known places that attract tourist
STATION 3: Language and Culture
STATION 4: food and Delicacies
STATION 5: Religion (including festivals and celebrations)
STATION 6: Personalities, Person/s that makes the place or country well known.
ADDITIONAL:
INFOTAINMENT type of discussion per station.
- Facts (Research)
- Trivias
- The discussion should be informative yet entertaining.

3.A: the poster should showcase the chosen place/ country

3.G: the poster must run 5 days before the posting of your presentation.

V. CRITERIA
The deliverables will be judged according to the given rubrics of your respective teachers.

VI. GUIDELINES AND LIMITATION

STUDENTS:

4.A : The strand president or the council should sign a non-disclosure agreement for the
confidentiality of the project.
4.B. The strand fully understands the mechanics, guidelines, and procedure of the project.
4.c The strand should follow the mechanics, guidelines, and procedure of the project.
4.D The strand will get a deduction or totally disqualified if the committees found malicious content
and not suitable for the academic purpose of the project.
TEACHERS/ ADVISERS:

4.E: The teachers should sign a non-disclosure agreement for the confidentiality of the project.
4.F: It must be cleared that the Performance- Based learning is ENTIRELY for the Senior High School
Students and they not allowed to get involved in Technical Aspects of the PBL.
4.G: The teachers are allowed to assist their respective advisory class but prohibited to help.
4.H: The task of the teacher is to motive, follow ups and ensure that all the students are cooperating
in doing such project, also assure that the students will pass their output on time.
