Bio for Dr Anjali Joseph
Anjali Joseph is the Design and director for Centre for Health Facilities Design and Professor at Clemson University. she obtained PhD in Architecture at Georgia Institute of Technology, Masters from Kansas University and is
an alumni of School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.Her research work is aimed to improve patient care through evidence based design. She has over 22 peer reviewed publications

Bio for Dr Upali Nanda

Dr. Upali Nanda is a Principal and Director of Research at HKS. Based in Detroit, Upali has extensive experience leading research projects in design practice with a focus on the impact of design on human health and
perception. She is executive director of Center for Advanced Design Research and Evaluation, or CADRE, the research arm of HKS, and teaches as the Associate Professor of Practice at the Taubman School of Architecture
and Urban Planning at University of Michigan.

Bio for Dr Chandrashekhar R

Former Chief Architect of the Ministry of Health and has 38 years of experience in healthcare. He is a member of the technical committee of PMSSY Pradhan Mantri Swasthya in setting up 6 AIIMS and upgradation of
Medical colleges and redevelopment of Sarfardajung & LHMC in New Delhi. PhD is from BITS Pilani, He is first PhD in the field of Medical Architecture in India and His specialisation is on Airborne Infection control in Building
Engineering Design From Harvard School of Public Health, Boston and also alumni of School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.

Bio for Dr Anil Dewan

He is the head of department at School of Planning and Architecture with more than 30 years of experience in hospital design and planning. He has research consultancy projects and design projects with the Delhi
Cantonment board. He has more than 20 publications including a hospital design manual and SCI indexed journals.

Bio for Prof Manoj Mathur

Professor at School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi he has practical experience of 38 years.He has completed multiple institutional, interiors, residential, housing and hotel projects.

Bio for Dr Prabhjot Sugga

He is the Associate Professor at School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. He completed his PhD from IIT, Roorkee, Masters from Columbia University, New York and B.Arch from SPA-ND. He has completed various
institutional, interior design, residential and hotel projects.

Bio for Ar Deependra Prashad

Mr Deependra Prasad is the architect at DPAP, a firm that specializes in sustainable architecture with 22 years in designing projects. He is a visiting faculty at SPA-ND and has provided training at bodies such as UN-Habitat,
TERI, BEE, CPWD and PWD. He has numerous publications in books, journals and magazine articles.

Bio for Ar Sanjit Roy

Assistant Professor at the School of Planning and Architecture,Morgan State University in Baltimore. He completed his M.Arch from University of Cincinnati, USA and B.Arch from SPA-ND. He has received teaching awards,
prizes in design competitions, published numerous papers and delivered lectures on various topics.

He is the principal consultant at Shift Studio for Habitat futures and member of Senate at School of Planning and Architecture Vijayawada and Bhopal.He completed his B.Arch at SPA-ND and has 42 years of industry
experience.

Bio for Priya Boby

Priya is a PhD scholar at School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. Her research is related to well being in hospitals. She is LEED accredited and has completed her masters from Northumbria University with industry
experience in Dubai, India and Zambia.
