RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PUNONG BARANGAY OF ________________ SORSOGON, TO APPLY FOR THE
DIFFERENT LIVELIHOOD COMPONENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT’S (DOLE) INTEGRATED
LIVELIHOOD AND EMERGENCY EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (DILEEP), APPROPRIATING THE PROJECTS EQUITY
REQUIREMENT AND GRANTING AUTHORITY TO THE PUNONG BARANGAY TO EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF
AGREEMENT WITH DOLE REGION V FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LIVELIHOOD PROGRAMS.

WHEREAS, submitted for consideration of the Sangguniang Barangay of ___________Sorsogon, to apply in the
Livelihood components of the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Integrated Livelihood and Emergency
Employment Program (DILEEP), appropriating the projects equity requirements and granting authority to the Punong
Barangay to represent the Barangay Council of ______________, Sorsogon and execute a Memorandum of
Agreement with DOLE Region V for the implementation to the livelihood program;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay to which the subject was referred, hereby submit the following findings and
recommendations, to wit:

The Sangguniang Barangay of _________________ Sorsogon through the subject program shall avail of the
DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (DILEEP). This project aims to provide each
beneficiary a short-term wage employment and a livelihood kit consisting of services and materials that will
help the beneficiary start quickly a livelihood undertaking and become self-employed. It is the government’s
thrust of inclusive growth through massive job generation and substantial poverty reduction.

With this project, the Sangguniang Barangay of __________________,Sorsogon was allotted by the
Department of Labor and Employment, a grant amounting to P 20,000.00 per beneficiary in a form of tools &
jigs, equipment and raw materials to start their own business. The Sangguniang Barangay of
___________________, Sorsogon will be required a 20% counterpart in the form of trainings, SSS/PNRC
enrolment and hauling of goods from the suppliers and monitoring of the projects for three years.
 In the emergency wage employment, enabling the unemployed poor and seasonal workers to engage in sort-
term community works to provide them with temporary wage employment for a minimum of 10 days and
maximum of 30 days. Payment in the labor cost, PPEs and micro-insurance will be shouldered DOLE. Equity of
the proponent barangay will be tools & jigs, conduct of Basic Training on Safety & Health and monitoring of
the projects.

Foregoing premises considered, hereby resolved to authorize the Sangguniang Barangay of

_______________________, Sorsogon to apply in the different livelihood components of the Department of
Labor and Employment, appropriating the projects equity requirements and granting authority to the Punong
Barangay to execute a Memorandum of Agreement with DOLE RO V.

NOW WHEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad _______________ and unanimous assent by the members of the
Sangguniang Barangay of _____________, Sorsogon, it was, RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to AUHORIZE THE
GOVERNOR TO APPLY TO THE DIFFERENT LIVELIHOOD COMPONENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR
AND EMPLOYMENT (DOLE) ; APPROPRIATING THE PROJECTS EQUITY REQUIREMENTS ; AND GRANTING AUTHORITY
TO THE PUNONG BARANGAY AND EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH DOLE RO V FOR THE
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LIVELIHOOD PROGRAM.

RESOLVED FINALLY, to furnish copies of this Resolution to Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) RO V and/or
appropriate agencies for the proper information and guidance.
