Difference between unilateral and bilateral contracts:

Unilateral contract  UNI = SATU

Allows only one person to make a promise or agreement.

Cth 1: u lost ur dog. So u put up an advertisement nak reward to anyone yang can return ur missing
dog. By offering the reward, you're offering a unilateral contract. U are the only person who has
taken any action in this contract, as no one is specifically responsible/obligated to finding ur dog.

Cth 2: insurance contracts. Insurance company janji that they will pay the insured person a specific
amount of money in case a certain event happens. If the event tak berlaku, then the company won’t
have to pay.

Bilateral contract  BI = DUA (or lebih)

Agreement between AT LEAST 2 people or groups. Biasanya business/personal contracts fall into this
category.

Examples of bilateral contracts are present in everyday life. You're entering this type of agreement
every time you order makanan kat restaurant, receive treatment from ur doctor, or beli barang kat
kedai. In each circumstance, u have promised a certain action to another person/party IN RESPONSE
to that person/party’s action.
