WHAT IS
ENGINEERING?
It's a world of ingenuity where you solve
problems through ideas, science and
mathematics that the engineer USES,
because the engineer's inspiration is to
solve problems because engineering is to
solve problems.

Scientifically engineering is the art and technique of

applying scientific knowledge to the invention, design,
improvement and handling of new procedures in industry
and other scientific fields of application.

The word engineer has its roots in Latin.
Ingenium literally translates to the innate
qualities of a person.

In 2625 BC and 2530 BC two pyramids were
built by this first known engineer, which are
the pyramids of saqqra and keops.

DA VINCI
1452 - 1519
Great inventor and artist considered one of
the greatest geniuses of humanity.
JAMES WATT
1736 - 1819
Great Scottish engineer who contributed to the
development of the steam engine.
THOMAS
EDISON
1847 - 1931
Italian-american inventor, thanks to his
inventions the electric current
reached all corners of the world.
All these people contributed to different branches of
engineering to make a solution to the problems they
faced, today everything we have, touch, use and visualize
is thanks to engineering.
