7. Ifa says that an ebo should be offered for a particular ‘Emere’


child. This child has made a covenant (secret pact) with his/her
astral mates. There is the need to offer ebo with banana tree
trunk, a roll (10 yards) of white cloth, he-goat, and a
calabash of fruits and to her mates such as honey, Aadun,
sugar cane, sugar, Imumu (monkey nuts) red cloth. This

10. Ifa says that you will be able to accomplish your heart desires. Not
only this, you shall live peacefully with the world and you shall
succeed beyond your widest dream. Ifa advises you to offer ebo

fowls, 2 roosters 6 kolanuts with six valves each and
money. You also need to prepare a herbal food with 4 fresh
eggs, Abeere seeds, Sinkinrinmidi leaves, Itun beads, Ifa
beads, 16 needles and palm-oil. The leaves, the seeds and
the beads shall be grinded together and put in a small cooking
pot, salt and palm-oil shall be added to it as appropriate. The
16 needles shall be added to the soup, the 4 fresh egg shall be
boiled and the shells shall be removed then the eggs shall be
added to the soup and cooked.

After this, this stanza shall be recited into Iyerosun and added
to the soup when the soup had cooled down. The herbal soup will
then be consumed with the exception of the needles. The 16
needles will be put inside cotton wool and wrapped with white
and black thread. This will then be put inside your pillow and be
used as success amulet. On this, Ifa says:
