batangas province in the Philippines is proud of


its cultural heritage, particularly the Batangas
literature which reflects the unique
characteristics of the Batanguenos, their life
and culture.
Batangas has many products that it has become
'famous' for such as embroidery, 'balisong' or
butterfly knives, and 'kapeng barako or brewed
coffee. Batangas is an extremely popular spot for its
well-known beaches, particularly the diving spots
which you can find in Lian, Laiya, Mabini, and
Nasugbu.
Batangas is one of the most popular tourist
destinations near Metro Manila. It is home to the
well-known Taal Volcano, one of the Decade
Volcanoes, and Taal Heritage town, a small town
that has ancestral houses and structures dating
back to the 19th century.

especially in poetry, songs and folktales from
the religious to the secular and from a
literature drawn form fantasy and supernatural
