1. Why are grammar rules important in writing police reports?

Grammar rules are important in writing police reports. Because in writing such
police reports it really needs and important to be accurate and concise. In writing
police reports grammar rules should always be followed, because in this, it will make
easier to the reader or specifically to the authorize person to find what he is looking
for and how he solve this possible cases by giving possible and accurate
recommendations or an immediate actions. Also remember that the information
needs to be well organized logically and specifically with the most important
informations or written reports coming first. When writing such police reports it
should always systematic, well organized which defines and analyses a subject and a
problem which may include the record of a sequence of events. Grammar rules are
always important in writing police reports, because in this kind of matter we need an
accurate,concise,clear and well structured informations. “Every words needs to be
there, that it contributes to the purpose of the report, make sure of that.”

2. How memoranda utilize in the PNP, and what are the purposes why
memoranda are constructed?

Memoranda utilize in the PNP, by conducting criminal investigation and give an

immediate action with regards to a particular cases stated in the memoranda. And
the main purpose of memoranda why it was constructed are the following; This will
help to our PNP to note that on that specific day or date there was an incident or
unexpected incident that need to be recorded. Then by constructing memoranda,
this will help to them to be updated with regards to the changes of events on their
specific fields. And by constructing memoranda, it will help to them to note such
things or a particular incidents that they might be encountered at that particular
date. By these, the PNP can easily determined the sequence of events or incidents.
And by that, the assigned officer or the officer in charge or the authorize person
responsible for that will have his or her immediate actions or conclusions to that
specific case.

1. Reference: Shooting Incident recorded in Patrol Section incident Logbook with

Entry No. 2023-401, dated Febuary 19,2023.

2. Please be informed that on or about Febuary 19,2023 at around 9:30 PM, a

shooting incident transpired infront of Cauayan Public Plaza located in proper area of
the Municipality of Cauayan, Negros Occidental. The victim was identified as one
Dionisio Denagiba Pascual, 35 years old, married with 3 children and a vendor of
ukay-ukay at the Cauayan Public Plaza where the shooting incident took place and he
was a resident of Baranggay Mambugsay, Cauayan, Negros Occidental
