There are opposing views with regard to people who believe that living in big cities is getting

easier, and the others believe it is getting more difficult. In this essay, I will present my
perspective on both views.

To begin with, those who believe that living in a big city is getting easier, can be considered
to have a privilege. In fact, for some people, living in a metropolitan is not as easy as it
seems, especially for those who do not have any relatives or friends. It is generally known
that the living cost of a big city is high. However, it is possible to get a job that grants a big
salary, according to the skills they have, because the requirements of labors in big cities are
massive. Moreover, for those who are skilled, they are potentially able to obtain a big salary.

In addition, the needs of every citizen are different. Therefore, the living cost can be
deemed as a relative aspect. Also, privilege has a big role in living in a big city. It is because
the more privilege they have, the easier it gets. For instance, those who are financially stable
are likely to face less difficulties than those who are financially unstable. On the other hand,
there is an aspect that has developed tremendously compared to the previous era. That is
technology, nowadays, information about the city can be found easily on the internet.

In conclusion, this essay shows both views about people who believe that living in a big city
is getting easier, and the others are the contrast. In my opinion, living in a metropolitan area
requires a privilege. The more privilege they have, the easier it gets.
