DEAR YOUNGER VERSION ME,

How are you beautiful? Its this time of the year in which you can feel the right
amount of pressure and anxiety right? Its nearly Christmas and deadlines and
examinations are knocking on your door steps. Do you still think its worth it? The
stress, investment and effort, are they all still worth it? I’m messing with you. Of
course, it is worth it! Come on future Pilot don’t just sit there and do nothing. You are
more capable than what you know and believe me what you’re going through right
now are just the first phase of your misery. Welcome to college dear!

I know how it feels to be broken inside and have lots of questions in your mind
whether you should continue or find a new phase for your dreams and goals. No,
don’t think that. Many have gone through that stage and those who survived achieved
more than what they had desired. You just have to hold on and step on your stepping
stones one by one. Do not be in a rush and just go with the flow of life. All I can say
is that college is a survival of the fittest game. Whether you start the play button or
not, everything will move to their own paces and its your choice if you’ll stir the
controller or not.

Being pilot and to travel the world, to be the master of a drastic flying vehicle, to
be the commander of the skies, that was you dream right? And it is still your dreams
up until now. You should not forget about the things that you have been through to
get where you are right now. FEU will shape you piece by piece, let it guide you but
you’re still the author of your own story. Do not just sigh and blurt out that people
will do the steps for you because believe me you only have yourself to lean on. You
cannot just trust your own fate to other people.

Stop being a cry baby. I know that there are circumstances and encounters that
will shed a tear from your eyes but that shouldn’t be your definition. Be strong and
make that as your motivation. Stop procrastinating and finish you tasks and
assignments on time. Time waits for no man beautiful. It is time that you get to realize
that you cannot just underestimate time. DO YOUR ASSIGNMENTS. Whatever you
can do today, do it today. Manage your time well. You can still go out with your
friends and party and treat yourself but you need to balance this with your
schoolwork. My dear you are in college already, act like one. Do not be hasty with
your plans and just let it happen. Be mindful of your expenses and budget your money
well. Prioritize things and people that will help you grow as an individual. Always be
humble and put yourself first. Are we clear? I love you beautiful! DON’T FORGET
