-Because I would have a larger and better sample size if I used

0.20 for small effect size, I would recommend the first option.

2. ) Why is it important that researchers determine appropriate

sample size with consideration to the level of significance, effect
size, and power?

-Choosing the right sample size for a study ensures that enough
power is available to identify statistical significance. As a result,
it is a crucial step in the development of a well-thought-out
study methodology. Using an excessive number of participants
in a study is costly and exposes a greater number of individuals
to the method.
