Why do demographics profile in international business and in some


field (i.e. research) matter?
- Since demography is the study of people’s vital statistics, such as
their age, gender, race and ethnicity, and location, demographics
profile in international business and in some field because it helps
companies as well as in research to determine the group of people
who fit the mold of the ideal customer. Demographics are a key factor
to deal with the different generations, which each require marketing
approaches and goods and services targeted to their needs and
preferences It can be used by businesses to help them understand
the characteristics of the people who buy their products and services.
It will also generate more revenue and profit margins to business
owners.
