A graduate student shall be deemed formally admitted to the graduate status after he/she shall have successfully
completed 18 units at the master’s level.

A written comprehensive examination shall be taken by all graduate students who have completed 30 units’
academic requirements.

A thesis proposal can only be scheduled for hearing after a student shall have passed the comprehensive
examinations and an approved thesis proposals/ research design is a pre-requisite to enroll thesis writing.
