development goals) that aim to transform
our world. They are a call to action to end
poverty and inequality, protect the planet,
and ensure that all people enjoy health,
justice and prosperity.

goal 13's targets are:

Strengthen resilience and adaptive
capacity to climate-related hazards and
natural disasters in all countries
Integrate climate change measures into
national policies, strategies and planning
Improve education, awareness-raising
and human and institutional capacity on
climate change mitigation, adaptation,
impact reduction and early warning
 The environment must be
maintained in order to protect the
survival of life in the future.

IMPORTANCE OF
CLIMATE ACTION
We must act now. Delayed efforts to mitigate either carbon
dioxide or short-lived climate pollutant emissions will have
negative, and potentially irreversible, consequences for global
warming, rising sea levels, food security, and public health.
