A MAGICAL PLACE TO RECOMMEND WOULD BE KUELAP (AMAZONAS).
This archaeological site, located 93 km south of Chachapoyas, is considered the most
important archaeological site in northeastern Peru and one of the most important tourist destinations in Peru. Its special location at the top of a high mountain offers an impressive view of the entire Uctubamba valley that captivates with its beautiful scenery. In my experience, I would say that it is a very beautiful place that transmits a magical aura; once you arrive at the place you will not want to leave because of its beautiful landscape and its beautiful flora and fauna. There are also the famous "Telecabinas" which is where you cross from mountain to mountain and feel a unique and unforgettable experience. It is said that if you go up with a full belly you will want to vomit. This fortress, which exhibits to this day the splendor of the Chachapoyas culture, is a masterpiece of pre-Hispanic architecture and houses about 500 houses that give dwelling to more than 3 thousand people. As a curious fact, Kuelap contains three times more construction material than the pyramids of Giza, in Egypt. It is also rumored that this site is one of the most attracted by tourists to visit and even stay for a long time in that place, as it is within the main tourist sites of the Peruvian Amazon.
