Good morning teacher and class and today we are going to talk about simple present
Simple present
We use the simple present tense when an action is happening right now, or when it happens regularly
and the other is to talk about habitual actions or occurrences.
Affirmative
In the simple present, most regular verbs use the root form, except in the third-person singular which
ends in –s.
And for a few verbs, the third-person singular ends with –es instead of –s.

Negative
The formula for making a simple present verb negative is subject + do/does + not + [root form of verb].
For example
Questions
The formula for asking a question in the simple present is do/does + [subject] + [root form of verb].
For example
Do you pay the rent?
Activity
So, the activity that we are going to do today is very simple, we are going to ask you for a specific
sentence in simple present and whoever raises their hand first and tells us the correctly requested
sentence wins a reward.
First sentence, you have to tell me an affirmative sentence using third person and also with a verb which
ends in -es.
Now you have to give me an affirmative and negative sentence using the verb to be.
