Day 13 (September 29, 2021)

September 29, 2021 –Wednesday

Grade 4 – Faith
Same as the other day, Teacher Judy did the opening for Grade 4. She reminded
them of their class rules gave them a few reminders before the class starts. After that,
she again asked them to bring out their whiteboard and marker for their spelling review.
When the opening is done, Teacher Leah joined the class for their HELE subject.
She continued to discuss their past lesson about animals and how they should be taken
care of. She also discussed the breeds and what uses does the animal can give.
Teacher Leah also welcomes the ideas of the students regarding that.
The next subject was Science with Teacher Krystel. She also reviewed the
students on their past lessons by calling them randomly using her index card. She also
uses pictures to visualize the things she is referring to especially the movements of the
animals. After they are done discussing, she led them in answering their seatwork in
their book. She explains the direction to the students but when they keep on repeating
the same questions, she reprimands them. When the class is done doing the seatwork,
they checked it during the class.
The next subject after their short break was Math. Teacher Pauline played a
video again which signals the students to prepare themselves. She randomly called the
students to answer their review on their past lesson. After that, she gave them new
examples to answer for them to master their lesson. While Teacher Pau was
discussing, she urged them to look at the screen so that all of the students will be able
to see the process of solving the given examples. Right after, the class had a short
activity where they use a whiteboard and marker to solve the given time limit. After the
discussion, she let them answer their activity in their Math book.
In their Music class, Teacher Judy asked the grade 4 to sing their favorite songs
and spotlighted them so that the class will see them. After that, she reviewed their past
lesson and asked them to sing the song they used last time, and then all of the students
sang one by one.
For their last subject, Teacher Jhamina continued their discussion in AP. After
she tackled the problems relating to livelihood in every place, she asked them to do an
essay where they will explain how they can help as a student to make their community
successful.

Grade 1 – Patience
As well as the other days, Teacher Pauline did the opening in grade 1. When
they are done doing their routine activities, she reviewed the class for the spelling bee
next week. After that, she asked the pupils to prepare for their subjects of the day and
wait for their teacher.
Teacher Krystel entered the meeting and played a video for their AP class. The
video is about the members of the family and what they do in helping each other. She
then asked questions to the pupils regarding the video and let them add their ideas
during their discussion. She also asked the pupils how many are in the family by asking
the class to show it with their hands. After that, she led the pupils to answer the activity
in the book and assisted them as they answer the questions.
On their English subject, the grade 1 pupils tackled the sequencing of events.
Teache Leah asked the pupils to read each situation flashed on the screen and asked
them the right order of what should happen next. After that, the class started to answer
the activity which is also about sequencing events. Since there are a lot of students who
want to share their thoughts, she limits them by only calling few pupils during that time.
In Health class, Teacher Kim talked about the physical activities the pupils want
to do. All of the pupils shared their ideas and experiences during the discussion. She
then asked the pupils if would still play outside and most of the students answered yes
as long the pandemic is over.
For their last subject, Teacher Pauline also reviewed their past lesson bout
adding numbers. She allowed pupils to answer the given so they could practice more.
She also facilitated a short activity using a whiteboard and marker and a timer to see if
the pupils will be able to solve the given quickly.
