The Colonial Condition (American Worker and Filipino Worker)

The political caricature reveals the difference between the colonial condition of the two
countries, which manual wages within the colony, but to more fundamental inequality, it
shows here that the difference of their working condition and wages between the two
countries.

Meaning of each picture

1. Dollars - the basic monetary unit of the United States of America.
2. Peso - the basic monetary unit of the Philippines.

Analyze:
The pictures show the differences between the two people. First, American
workers show that they don't exert efforts and are independent, and that they work
easily, the reason is, as you can see he smokes while working. Second, Filipino works
show that even though you exert a lot of effort and become more dependent or rather
serious at your work it will pay a small amount of wage.
Stating the fact, With my analysis this is why Filipinos work outside the country
because of the factors or beneficial there is high wages. One of my concerns about
working conditions is discriminating against older workers, denying benefits or
promotions from particular employees, unfair wages, and many more.
Lastly, In my own perspective or point of view is that American workers are
treated equally to one another while Filipino workers are being discriminated against
and treated indifferently (inequality).

Social and Political issue presented:

During the American Era, In view of the fact that they're the ones exercising
control and power, it is obvious that Americans are working independently and without
any hustle or struggle. Even if there is no sun overhead and they work, they get paid $5
daily. Unfortunately, despite the sacrifices they are making, the Filipinos still only earn a
small amount of money in return for their work. They work extremely hard, sweat
pouring from their bodies, and they carry a heavy load of an object on one shoulder.
