VACCINATION FOR COVID-19

With the arrival of Covid-19, the country along

STEP 1
with the rest of the world has been waiting for
years on a way to cure this major disease.
With the already implemented vaccination of
adults and teens, the last demographic left
would be kids.

GOALS & OBJECTIVES

As stated by Carlito Galvez Jr., in charge of the
operation, "As we are starting to achieve a majority
STEP 2
of fully vaccinated Filipinos, it is now the time to
give our children the protection that they need
against COVID-19.” Additionally, the Sec. said that
this will allow schools to hopefully resume onsite
class.

BENEFICIARIES

The beneficiaries of this policy are, of course,

the kids. Without giving them the protection

against the virus, would mean possibly
sentencing them to grave sickness or worse
death.

NATIONAL GOV

To implement the policy the Department of Health

STEP 4
has taken lead in implementing this policy
nationwide. However the project is then passed
down to LGU's to implement in their own areas.

LOCAL GOV

For the actual implementation of the policy, it then

comes down to the local government. For example, in
December 2022, Marikina pushed for the vaccination
of kids (5-7) by having two scheduled days for them.
