Abstract

The construction field can allow multiple different paths to take a career. For instance, it can

include the handling of other machinery and materials. However, there are careers where people

don't have to work with their hands. One example of this is civil engineering jobs in which they

make sure the construction will not interfere with the public or affect nature in any harmful way.

In addition, this career is still increasing with a seven percent increase in growth. In fact, well

over 10,000,000 people in the United States work in construction.

The main requirement for this type of job mostly just require a driver's license. With these

careers, people can also get internships, allowing them to work and learn on the job. Though

people with higher education can allow for higher jobs out of the gate. Currently, the average

salary for the construction industry is $47,500, allowing flexible differences with a huge range of

$19,500 to $87,000 of salary. Finally, this shows that the construction industry is still growing

and allows for multiple job opportunities.
