    The construction field is one of the most common blue-collar jobs around the world. There are

    many career opportunities that one can pursue in the field of construction. These options include

    building, excavating, and other sorts of commercial and residential jobs. The construction

    business is a 16 billion dollar industry. It supports more than 968,000 workers. A person may

    want to go into this career for many reasons. One of those reasons is the pay, the pay is pretty

    good with averages starting at 48,000. There are always construction companies looking for new

    employees. To begin as a laborer, a person will not need schooling, but it is a good idea always to

    finish high school. A college or a trade school will help with the construction field they are

    pursuing. Doing schooling can also help in starting with better pay and a better position in a

    company. Some companies will even pay for trade schools. The construction industry can be a

    very successful career for a lot of people. There are many job openings and one can make good

    money and not have the issue of paying for schooling.
