4 Requirements

bucklee (Le. bucklee other than thoee u.,ed primarily for sdju9tment o! fit) 8hall be deeigned in such s way that they can only
be a8sembled in a correct manner or, if they are capable of being assembled in more than one way. that each method of
aSgembly ohall comply with the strength and performance requirements.
Metallic fittings shall comply with the corr08ion protection requirement8 specified in 4.4 of EN 362.
4.3 Static strength
When tested as described in 5.1.4.2 of EN 364 with a force of 15 kN, and as described in 5.1.4.3 of EN 364 with a force .of
10 kN, the full body harnen ehall not relea.. the toreo dummy.

5 Test methods
5.1 Static strength test
5.1.1 Apparatus
The static strength tast appara:ul' shall ;;om~ly wit" 4.1'and 4.2 of EN 36~.
5.1.2 Method
The static strength test sha!1 be carriqd cut as described in 5.1.4 of EN J64.

5.2 Dynamic perfonnance test


5.'2.1 Apparatus
The dynamic performance test apparatus shall comply with 4.2, 4.4.1 rand 4.6 of EN 364.
5.2.7. Method
The dynamic periormence test shall be carriod out as ddscriot?d in 5.1.2 of EN 354.

6 Instructions for use, marking and packaging


The in3tructions for use and the marking shall comply with EN 355 and shu!! be given in the Il'Inguage of the country of sale.
In 'Iddi.tion, the instructions for use' shal: state which attachment element of the f\;11body harness sl1all be used in I! fall arrest
system (see EN 363) or in a work positioning system (see EN 358).')
The instru::tions for Iise shall specify, in particular, all relevan: information relcting to the proper way of putting on the full
body harness and of attaching it to a connecting sub-system. )
Full body harnesses shall be supplied wrapped, but not necessarily seal~d, in a moisture-repa/lent material.
