Making homemade shampoo can be a fun and eco-friendly alternative to using store-

bought products. Here is a simple recipe for a DIY shampoo:

Ingredients:

1 cup of liquid castile soap

1 cup of water
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
1 tablespoon of honey
10-15 drops of your preferred essential oil (optional)
Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine the liquid castile soap and water. Stir until well
blended.

Add the coconut oil and honey to the mixture. Stir well to combine.

If desired, add 10-15 drops of your preferred essential oil to the mixture. Stir
well.

Pour the shampoo into a clean and empty shampoo bottle.

To use the homemade shampoo, simply wet your hair and apply a small amount of the
shampoo to your scalp. Massage gently to create a lather, and then rinse thoroughly
with water.

Note: This recipe is for a basic homemade shampoo. You may need to adjust the
recipe to suit your specific hair type and needs. For example, you could add more
or less coconut oil depending on how dry or oily your hair is. Experiment and have
fun!
