SN FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL TEST (COMPACT-PLUS) Pass Remarks

AC test:

a. Remove mains supply by removing Fuse from panel or by


deactivating breaker from AC Panel.
1 b. Panel should display mains fault on LCD Display and fault buzzer is
on.
c. Press “Cancel Buzzer” button.
d. Return mains supply.
e. Panel returns to normal state.

a. Remove any device from the loop.

b. A fault should be displayed on the panel indicating that a device has
been lost.
c. The label /location of device should also be displayed.
d. Fault buzzer is on.
e. Press “Cancel Buzzer” button.
f. Return Device.
g. Panel Returns to normal state.

S4-715 - Optical Smoke Sensor

a. From a distance of 0.1 to 1.0 meter, aim spray for 1-2 seconds at
the vents of the sensor.
b. Sensor will go into alarm within 1-20 seconds. The panel should
indicate a fire alarm and LCD Display shows the label/location of
device.
1 c. All alarm sounders and other ancillary equipment associated with
the sensor should activate.
d. Pressing “Silence Alarm button on the Fire Alarm Panel will
deactivate all alarm sounders.
e. Repeat steps a to d for other smoke sensors.
f. Press “Reset” button on the Fire Alarm Panel when testing is
finished.
g. Panel returns to normal state.

S4-34845 - Manual Call Point

a. Press the center of the manual call point inwards to activate it.
b. The Red LED Lamp should turn on indicating that device is in alarm.
c. The panel should indicate a fire alarm and LCD Display shows the
label/location of device.
d. All alarm sounders and other ancillary equipment associated with
the device should activate.

e. Pressing “Silence Alarm button on the Fire Alarm Panel will
deactivate all alarm sounders.
f. Use the test key to reset manual call point.
g. Repeat steps a to f for other manual call point.
h. Press “Reset” button on the Fire Alarm Panel when testing is
finished.
i. Panel returns to normal state.

S3-S-VAD-HPR-R - Sounder Flasher

a. Activate device using “Sound Alarm” button on Fire Alarm Panel or


by activating any device on the loop associated with it.
b. Sounder should activate.
3 c. Press “Silence Alarm” button to stop sounder activation.
d. Do steps a to c for other sounders.
e. Press reset button to return panel to normal condition after test.

S4-34420 - Single Channel Interface, LV Input

a. Activate device / any ancillary equipment connected to input of


interface unit.
4 b. There should be indication on Panel Display and output/outputs
associated to it must activate.
c. Press “Silence Alarm” and “Reset “button to stop activation.
d. Do steps a to c for other Interfaces.

S4-34420 - Single Channel Interface, LV Output

a. Activate device using “Sound Alarm” button on Fire Alarm Panel or


by activating any device on the loop associated with it.

b. Any ancillary equipment connected to the relay of the interface unit
should activate.
c. Press “Silence Alarm” button to stop activation.
d. Do steps a to c for other Interfaces.
e. Press RESET button to return panel to normal condition after test.

Fire Alarm Test
a. Initiate a Fire Alarm on any of the panels connected to the network.
Sounders and Control Modules for Panel will activate.
b. The other Panels on the network will display location of fire alarm and

their buzzers will activate.
c. Their sounders and control modules will not activate. Control Module
for BMS integration connected to Panel 1 will activate.
d. Repeat for each panel on the network.
General Evacuation Test
a. Press Sound Alarm Button on any panel connected to the Network.

b. Sounders and Control Modules for all panels will activate.
c. Repeat for each panel connected to Network.
Fault Test
a. Initiate a fault on any of the panels connected to the network. Fault is
displayed on the panel. Fault Buzzer will sound. Fault LED is lit only on
the panel where the fault occurred.
b. The other Panels on the network will display location of fault and their
buzzers will activate.
c. Repeat for each panel on the network.
