Introduction
C•CURE 9000 Database Migration Utility facilitates the migration of the C•CURE 800/8000 security
management system to C•CURE 9000 v2.90.

Requirements
The C•CURE 9000 Database Migration Utility 2.90 requires the following software version of
C•CURE 9000:

 C•CURE 9000 Security and Event Management System version 2.90.

Contents of the installation media

The install media contains the C•CURE 9000 Database Migration Utility for version 2.90.

Documentation for the C•CURE 9000 Database Migration Utility is located as follows:

 CC9K-v2-90-DMURN-8200-1950-39-A0-en.pdf - This release note file is in the root of the install media.
 CC9K-v2-90-DMUGd-8200-1950-38-A0-en.pdf– located in Program files\Software
House\SWHMigrationUtility folder.

Installation
Perform the following steps to install the C•CURE 9000 Database Migration Utility.

1. Insert the Database Migration Utility installation media into a drive on your C•CURE 800 machine.
2. Click "Install Migration Utility" to start the installation.

If the installation program for the Database Migration Utility does not autorun:

1. Open the installation folder in Windows Explorer.

2. Double-click DMU_2.90.exe.

NOTE: After importing a C▪CURE 800 system to a new C▪CURE 9000 system, restart the Crossfire services.
