Overview
C•CURE 9000 SiteServer is a web-based security and event management network appliance system with
C•CURE 9000 v2.80 pre-installed. C•CURE 9000 SiteServer comes with Windows 10 Enterprise OS and can
communicate with up to 64 readers over an IP network, providing a powerful security and event management
package in a compact format.

C•CURE 9000 SiteServer includes the following features:

 C•CURE 9000 Access Control and Event Management System
 C•CURE Web Client
 Microsoft® SQL Server® Express 2017
 Supports up to 64 readers
 16 GB of RAM memory
 256 GB solid-state hard drive
 Flexible mounting options
 User-friendly dashboard
 Compatible with Software House iSTAR controllers and readers.
 Optional pre-configured, editable database of iSTAR clusters, controllers, readers, doors, and other
standard objects.

Hardware Requirements
C•CURE 9000 SiteServer requires the following hardware items to operate:

 Flat-panel monitor (C•CURE 9000 is best viewed using 1280x1024 resolution).

 Network cable
 VGA/DVI cable

Compatible Software
C•CURE 9000 SiteServer is qualified with the following Antivirus software:

 Symantec Endpoint Protection version 14.0.3876.1100.

Limitations
Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio is not pre-installed. Download and install the newest version of
Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio from the Microsoft website before using C•CURE 9000.

C•CURE Go Reader

C•CURE Go Reader integrations are not compatible with C•CURE 9000 v2.80. Upgrade to C•CURE 9000
v2.80 SP2 and the latest versions of these integrations to ensure compatibility.

iSTAR Edge and iSTAR eX Controllers

SiteServer is not compatible with iSTAR Edge and/eX controllers running firmware lower than v6.2.1. Upgrade
these controllers to the newest available firmware before connecting the controllers to SiteServer 3.

NOTE: SiteServer appliances upgraded to C•CURE 9000 v2.80 SP3 are compatible with iSTAR Edge G2
controllers.

TLS 1.0 and Language Pack Uninstallation

TLS 1.0 must be enabled before installing or uninstalling language packs for SiteServer. TLS 1.0 is disabled by
default for security purposes.

TLS 1.0 and DSC PowerSeries integration repair

TLS 1.0 must be enabled before repairing the DSC PowerSeries integration for SiteServer. TLS 1.0 is disabled
by default for security purposes.

SiteServer Dashboard Health Gadget

The Health gadget on the SiteServer Dashboard shows the health of the iSTAR Crossfire Service and the
Intrusion Driver Service, not the health of an actual hardware controller.

Configuration Wizard limitations

Updates from the database backup path using the C•CURE 9000 Administration application are not consistent
with SiteServer updates performed through the Configuration Wizard.

The Configuration Wizard is only available for Administrator Account users.

Visitor Management Systems are not qualified on SiteServer 3.

Some messages on the Startup Wizard, Configuration Wizard and Toolbar are not localized.
