    Here are some things which can affect our opinions of other people and a question
    for you to discuss:

    HOW DO THESE THINGS AFFECT OUR OPINION OF OTHER PEOPLE?

    -The job they do

    - the clothes they wear

    -The way they speak

    -their behaviour

    -their interests

    Now you have a minute to decide which of these things makes the
    strongest impression when you meet someone for the first time.

    1. Can you think of a situation when it’s very important to make a


    good impression?
    2. Do you believe the first impression you have about someone is likely
    to be the right impression?
    3. Do you think it’s possible for people who are very different to
    become good friends?
    4. Some people say you should never make any quick judgement

    about anything. What do you think?
